Terms for donations, membership and sales
1. Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions apply to any donation, membership, student sponsorship or purchase made from the website www.nkseeds.org, published by: NK Seeds — Nong Khiaw Sharing Education Environment Development Solidarity Association governed by the French law of 1901 RNA: W742007165 · SIRET: 851 387 167 00014 Registered office: 20 Grande Rue, 74300 Cluses, France Email: [email protected] By making a donation, joining, sponsoring a student or buying on this site, you accept these terms in full.
2. Online donations
Donations made through the site can be one-off or recurring, for any amount. They are paid by bank transfer (bank details on request at [email protected]) and/or by card through a secure online payment platform. Because a donation is not the purchase of a good or a service, it does not give rise to the cooling-off period set out in the French Consumer Code. If there has been an obvious mistake (wrong amount, duplicate), contact us within 14 days at [email protected] for a refund. A donation receipt is sent on request. A tax receipt (CERFA) may be issued if the association is entitled to do so [tax status to be confirmed].
3. Joining the association
Joining NK Seeds makes you a member of the association, on the terms set out in its articles and internal rules. Membership runs for the period stated when you join (usually the calendar year or 12 rolling months) and can be renewed. It can be canceled at any time by written request to [email protected]; the membership fee already paid is not refundable, except in the case of a payment error.
4. Sponsoring a student
Sponsorship means giving financial support, either one-off or regular, to the education of one or more students supported by NK Seeds. The sponsor can stop it at any time by writing to [email protected], at no cost and with no penalty, taking effect at the next payment date where applicable. The funds collected go to the school fees and the support costs of the students concerned.
5. Shop and product sales
When the site’s shop is open, the prices shown are in euros, all taxes included. Placing an order means accepting the price and the product description as they stand at the time of the order. Under article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise your right of withdrawal, apart from the legal exceptions (personalized or perishable products, items whose seal has been broken, and so on). Return postage is at your expense unless stated otherwise. NK Seeds remains bound by the legal warranties of conformity and against hidden defects.
6. Payment, data and disputes
Payments are made by bank transfer or by card through a secure online payment platform. Your personal data is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, please contact us first at [email protected] so that we can find an amicable solution. Failing that, the matter will be brought before the competent French courts. These terms may be updated; the date below shows the latest version.
