The universities
Medicine, tourism, English, Chinese: the students we sponsor follow a university course, mostly in Luang Prabang. Sponsorship covers university fees, housing and meals.
Private route
Vocational training
Since September 2026, 17 students have been taking a vocational course in tourism French at the Institut français in Luang Prabang, so they can start working in tourism quickly.

The program reaches the remote district of Muang Xon, with Lia as coordinator on site.

The first five students enter university: medicine, English and Chinese.
Sept. 2024
Second class in Luang Prabang
10 more students enter university: medicine, Chinese and English.
Sept. 2025
First French class at the École normale supérieure in Luang Prabang
The first students begin a bachelor’s degree in French at the École normale supérieure in Luang Prabang.
2026
A graduate and a new course
Dokkham has qualified as a nurse. 17 students are starting the tourism French course, in partnership with the French Embassy and the Institut français du Laos.
