The school
A former teacher back in his village
Lia Tor taught English in Nong Khiaw with NK Seeds before moving back to Muang Xon, in Houaphan province, with the idea of giving the children of his village the chances he had himself. He opened My Dream English School there with his wife Xisidapeth Ly, also a former teacher with the association. The project started in October 2022 and was announced publicly on January 28, 2024. Classes run Monday to Friday, from 4pm to 6pm, after school. Four classes group the students by age and level. The school now has 80 students enrolled.

The school exists thanks to Enfants du Mékong, with whom NK Seeds works through collective sponsorship: each sponsor gives one student free access to the classes.
